The study offers an in-depth investigation of health-related behaviors of preschool teachers (n = 127) and provides a better understanding of the relationship between workplace stress and the behavioral patterns related to the health of early childhood educators. The results reveal moderate levels of stress. Correlation analysis shows that perceived stress is negatively associated with self-rated health and positively associated with the body mass index of preschool teachers. There is a negative correlation between stress and sleep duration; also, educators with higher perceived stress levels evaluate their sleep quality more negatively. This study did not find a relationship between stress and the dietary habits of preschool teachers, except in the case of the consumption of occasional snack foods. Moreover, no association was found between stress and the amount of leisure-time physical activity, alcohol use, and smoking.
