Stres in z zdravjem povezano vedenje vzgojiteljic predšolskih otrok

Povzetek

Raziskava ponuja poglobljeno analizo z zdravjem povezanega vedenjskega sloga vzgojiteljic predšolskih otrok (n = 127) ter predstavlja doprinos k razumevanju povezanosti med doživljanjem stresa in vedenjskimi vzorci zaposlenih v predšolski vzgoji. Rezultati kažejo, da vzgojiteljice v povprečju izkazujejo zmerno stopnjo stresa na delovnem mestu. Na podlagi korelacijske analize ugotavljamo, da se doživljanje stresa pri vzgojiteljicah negativno povezuje z njihovo samooceno zdravja in pozitivno z indeksom telesne mase. Prav tako se stres povezuje s spalnimi navadami. Vzgojiteljice, ki glede na obstoječa priporočila premalo spijo, poročajo o pomembno višji stopnji stresa kot tiste, ki spijo dovolj dolgo. Nadalje, vzgojiteljice z višjo stopnjo zaznanega stresa slabše ocenjujejo svojo kakovost spanja. Z raziskavo nismo ugotovili povezanosti med stresom in preučevanimi prehranjevalnimi navadami vzgojiteljic, razen v primeru uživanja priložnostnih obrokov. Prav tako nismo ugotovili povezanosti med stresom in količino prostočasne telesne aktivnosti, uživanjem alkoholnih pijač in kajenjem.
