Izkustveno učenje in izobraževanje o politiki v okviru državljanske vzgoje

Povzetek

Državljanska vzgoja je pomemben del izobraževalnih sistemov, med drugim tudi zato, ker se v njenem okviru posredujejo znanja o politiki in političnem. Sploh mlade je potrebno opolnomočiti, da bodo imeli znanje o politiki ter bili sposobni in željni imeti družbenopolitični vpliv. Članek naslavlja izkustveno učenje kot celovit pristop k državljanski vzgoji ter poučevanju političnih vsebin. Pri tem je izhodiščna teza, izhajajoča iz teoretizacij Deweyja, Kolba in Freireja, da izkustveno učenje izhaja iz učenca, njegovih obstoječih znanj in kontekstov, prek česar učenec dojema, razumeva, reflektira vsebine prek izkustvenega spoznavanja in konkretnih akcij. Refleksija kurikulov osnovnošolskega predmeta domovinska in državljanska kultura in etika ter srednješolske obvezne izbirne vsebine aktivno državljanstvo pokaže, da so elementi pedagoško-didaktične usmeritve izkustvenega učenja vsaj deloma prisotni, vendar so ti šibko pojasnjeni in operacionalizirani. Zato je ponujena tudi poglobljena konceptualizacija dimenzij pristopa izkustvenega učenja v okviru državljanske vzgoje in posredovanja političnih vsebin v smislu družbenopolitičnega opolnomočenja izobražujočih se mladih.
